The cannon animation is the most noticeable part of Pirate Queen, but it is not the best place to start reading a result. First find the symbol award, then the bomb multiplier and finally the settled total. JILI’s original Pirate Queen links bombs to the Free Game calculation; a bomb graphic on its own is not a complete payout explanation.
This guide covers product 164, the original Pirate Queen. Pirate Queen 2 is a separate title, and its rules should not be copied into this one. The screenshots here come from JILI’s own product gallery. They illustrate the feature without claiming that we played a paid session or received the amounts shown.

The ordinary-symbol result comes first
JILI’s first tutorial highlights treasure chests across the board and describes awards for enough identical symbols. Before following the cannon animation, identify the symbol group the game counted.
A highlighted group tells you what the game is evaluating. It does not, by itself, reveal every minimum symbol count or the full award table. Read the current paytable for those entries, particularly when different symbol types have different values.
There is also a terminology issue on the public product page. The specification lists 40 paylines, while the description and tutorial emphasize the number of matching symbols on the board. We do not turn those short descriptions into an invented line map. The exact game’s information screen should explain the evaluation method.
When reviewing a round, keep the initial symbol award distinct from the final feature award. If a multiplier has already been included in WIN, applying it again in your own calculation would count it twice. The award animation can show how a number was reached without creating another payment.
What the bomb tutorial actually shows

The second official tutorial displays a bomb marked x100 above the reels and identifies high-multiplier bombs with Free Games. It is a useful illustration of the mechanic’s role, but it is a selected example, not a frequency statement.
To read a bomb round, ask which winning amount the multiplier affects and when that calculation is completed. If several bombs appear, use the written combination rule. The general phrase about multiplying a round’s win does not establish whether several displayed values are added, multiplied together or processed in another sequence.
Pirate Queen 2 may use different bomb values or combination rules. The shared cannon theme does not make the sequel’s explanation a rule for the original.
A bomb’s size, colour or dramatic animation cannot tell you how close the next bomb is. Once you have learned where its value appears, the useful next step is to check the settled round record—not to raise the stake because the animation looked promising.
Entering Free Games: read the award message and counter separately

One official gallery image shows an entry message awarding 10 Free Spins, with a FREE GAME counter visible at the left. That confirms what the example state displays. It does not provide the complete trigger table for every possible Scatter count or any retrigger rule.
The entry message and the live counter have different jobs. The first announces an award; the second helps track the feature as it proceeds. When another animation appears, check whether the counter changed, the symbol result changed, or only the presentation changed. Those are not interchangeable events.
Likewise, the WIN amount beneath the reels should be read in context. It can be shown while a feature is still resolving. Wait until the game has completed the relevant result before treating the display as a final feature total.
Our slot-feature guide explains the broader difference between an entry condition, a free-spin award and a multiplier. Pirate Queen needs all three distinctions to make its busy screen readable.
Why a cannon screenshot is poor evidence of the formula
One gallery frame fills the board with fire effects. It shows the cannon animation but obscures the symbols needed to check the calculation. Use the tutorial or a settled-result image for that question.
If you are trying to understand an unexpected award, capture the readable state after the effects finish. Include the game title, stake, relevant symbols and award field. A cropped fireball with a large number leaves too much out for a reliable explanation.
For a support question, save the round identifier privately as well. Describe the mismatch precisely: the rule you expected, the symbols displayed and the amount recorded. Do not post account balances or identifiers publicly merely to illustrate the animation.
A useful comparison with other JILI games
Pirate Queen’s distinctive question is how the matching-symbol award and the Free Game bombs connect. That differs from a game where a Wild substitutes directly into a line or where a separate wheel determines an award.
Our JILI game overview gives a broader comparison of formats. Use that comparison to decide which interface you can follow comfortably, rather than treating more animation as evidence of more favourable results.
If you choose cash play, decide the total amount and time before starting. A Free Game that has not appeared is not a reason to extend either limit. Our slot-budget guide keeps this decision separate from feature learning. A budget limits exposure; it does not alter the game’s outcomes.
Pirate Queen FAQ
Is this the same game as Pirate Queen 2?
No. This guide is tied to JILI product 164 and the original title. Check the full loading-screen name before applying any rule.
Does every Free Game receive a bomb?
The public description says bombs may appear during Free Games. The tutorial does not establish a bomb on every round or publish a frequency.
Do several bomb values multiply each other?
The public material used here does not give a complete multiple-bomb calculation rule. Read the original game’s help rather than importing the sequel’s explanation.
Are 10 Free Spins always awarded?
The provider image shows one 10-spin entry message. It does not establish every trigger, alternate entry award or retrigger condition.
Does the 40-payline label explain every winning pattern?
No. A catalog label is not a line diagram or full symbol-count rule. Use the current information panel to resolve how the board is evaluated.
