Buffalo Blitz puts a wide bank of animal symbols on the screen, but its most useful number is easy to misunderstand. The original Playtech game has 4,096 ways to win. That describes how matching symbols are evaluated; it does not mean 4,096 paid spins, selectable lines, or a forecast of how often the game will pay.
Start by checking the title. This guide concerns the original RNG slot, not Buffalo Blitz Live, Buffalo Blitz II, Megaways, Mega Merge, or Cash Collect. The rules below refer to Danske Spil’s published original-game help. The illustrations are operator-supplied images from Swiss4Win, not screenshots of a PKLive cash session. Local stakes, RTP configuration and availability must be checked in the game you actually open.

Identify the original game before reading its reels

The operator artwork shows the original title and buffalo identity; it is a game card, not a reel capture. In the actual game, read the reel area separately from the controls beneath it: symbols belong to the result, while stake fields describe the cost of another round. A displayed win is a result already received, not a recommended stake.
Look at the full title before borrowing rules from a search result. Buffalo Blitz is now a family of games. A guide discussing a changing reel height, a separate top reel or a live presenter may concern another member of that family. Similar animals and lettering are not enough to establish that two screenshots use the same rules.
Our slot-feature guide explains the difference between a feature label and its actual condition. Here, the crucial distinction is between ways and paylines.
Follow matching reels, not a drawn line
The original-game help specifies consecutive matching reels beginning at the left. A matching symbol can occupy different vertical positions on those reels. The ways count is fixed. Coin value multiplied by 40 gives the total round stake in this documented version.
Imagine tracing one animal through the first few reels. Your question is whether each next reel continues the same symbol, allowing an eligible Wild where the rules permit. You are not trying to draw a horizontal route through identical row positions. Conversely, attractive symbols on the right do not make an ordinary left-starting combination if the required chain is absent on the left.
That reading method also prevents a cost mistake. The 4,096 ways count is not a stake multiplier. Before pressing Spin, read the actual total shown by the controls. If you change the coin value, check that total again. Do not multiply a payout-table value by the total stake unless the help specifically tells you to use that unit.
The Diamond Wild changes role in free games

The same help identifies the diamond as Wild, available on reels two through six, substituting for ordinary symbols but not Scatter. During free games its displayed multipliers can be 2×, 3× or 5×. Where multiple Wild multipliers contribute to a winning free-game result, they add rather than multiply together. The diamond has no separate symbol payout.
This is the detail to watch when an animation looks larger than the result you expected. Two multiplier labels do not automatically mean their mathematical product. Read the winning combination, then the game’s applicable multiplier, then the credited amount. Do not count every diamond on the whole board as though all belonged to the same winning route.
The supplied symbol image can help you identify the diamond. It cannot tell you the probability of landing it. A paytable symbol is a legend, not a sample of future spins. We have not measured feature frequency or conducted a cash-play test.
Read the free-game award separately from the result
The original help gives starting awards of eight, fifteen, twenty-five and one hundred free games for three, four, five and six Scatters respectively. It also documents additional games during the feature. These are conditional awards, not a promise that a trigger will occur within a session. See the linked help for the complete retrigger table.
Once the feature begins, there are several numbers worth separating. A remaining-games counter describes how much of the current feature is left. A feature-win field records money already awarded within it. A multiplier label modifies the result specified by the rules. None of those numbers tells you that the next result must be positive.
If a counter increases during play, check the feature message before assuming the game restarted. Additional games and a new paid round are different events. At the end, distinguish the trigger-round result from the feature result and from their combined total. Adding a displayed combined total to its components would count the same money twice.
We have a verified game card and symbol artwork, but not a captured base-game or free-game session for this review. The feature explanation therefore relies on the linked operator help; the pictures are not presented as proof of a particular bonus outcome.
An ordinary result worth checking carefully
Suppose a board displays several animals, a diamond and a Scatter. First isolate an ordinary symbol chain beginning on the left, then check the special symbols. Next check whether the diamond actually participates in that chain. Finally read the Scatter or feature message separately. This is an interpretation exercise, not a way to select the next spin.
The same discipline helps when a result animation cycles through several highlighted combinations. A temporarily highlighted amount may be one component of a total. Wait for the settled result or consult the recorded round before deciding that two amounts disagree. Keep the round reference if the operator provides one, rather than trying to recreate the result through more play.
What to verify in your own version
A public operator’s help is useful for understanding this title, but it is not proof of another operator’s configuration. Before a paid round, compare the title, Wild rule, total-stake unit and feature table with the deployed information panel. If those disagree with this page, use the deployed rules and ask the operator to identify the version.
We intentionally do not carry over a single advertised RTP or currency range. Our RTP reading guide explains why a theoretical percentage is not a session refund. A screen in Swiss francs also does not establish Philippine peso stakes or local availability.
Before deciding whether the game fits a session, choose an entertainment amount that can be lost without affecting necessities, then set an end time. The budget and stop-point guide provides a practical framework. A bonus that has not appeared is not a reason to extend either limit.
Questions about Buffalo Blitz
Are 4,096 ways the same as 4,096 selectable lines?
No. The original help describes a fixed ways system. Read matching consecutive reels rather than choosing a line count.
Do two Wild multipliers multiply each other?
The documented original free-game rule adds contributing Wild multipliers. Use the actual winning combination and the applicable help, rather than multiplying every visible label.
Is Buffalo Blitz Live the game covered here?
No. This is the original RNG title. A live-presenter interface or a different subtitle needs its own version check.
Does the biggest free-game award show how likely the feature is?
No. An award table describes what follows a specified trigger. It does not disclose the chance of that trigger or predict a session result.
Were these images taken during PKLive cash play?
No. They are identified operator-supplied game assets. Current PKLive deployment, account eligibility and cash outcomes were not verified.
